One became part of the design concept for the 'chocolate-river room'.
The other has more to do with one of my own interests.

mingus's alice

I've recently been reading STANLEY CROUCH's collection of essays on jazz: 'CONSIDERING GENIUS', and I was reminded of CHARLES MINGUS' 'Alice' theme.
(There is a link on the title above if you want to hear some of it.)
This picture is also a hommage to alto saxophonist JOHN HANDY - who was MINGUS' JOHNNY HODGES. Music lovers will know what I mean even if they don't agree with me.
