The 'door' is a photo of a tiny terracotta medal from Sumer showing the face of Humbaba, the monster in the labyrinth from the Epic of Gilgamesh.

I have no idea how these scenes look in the movie. I haven't seen it.

A couple of years ago I went to Marrakech to work on a movie which, on paper, was called 'The POP'. It was released this year as the 'Sands Of Time'.
