Thorgal, child of the Stars

3 concepts for
'Thorgal, Enfant des Etoiles'.

A proposed TV series for
France 2/M.D.I. Productions. Paris.

Based on the B.D. series by Rozinski and Van Hamme.

Thorgal didn't make it onto the TV screen but the visual development process was an important experiment for me and I remain indebted to Alain Majani at M.D.I. for giving me the opportunity to work on it at length.

Beautiful. I love the way you're abler to create a strong atmosphere without a need for details.

Cheers,

As the Mighty Limbolo once told unto me - 'keep the horizon high or low, never in the middle'.
The Golden Ratio underscores these three Golden pics.

I used to read the Thorgal comics aswell. I loved the drawings, though I think it became a bit bad in the later ones. Was is supposed to be an animated or a liveaction tv series?

I have finally, and happily found your blog, Mister Ross. I am a great fan of your work.
I was going to admire images in silence. But then I came across "Thorgal" pics twice, and see you've misspelled my fellow countryman name, I have decided to react!:-) It's Rosinski; for Europe, or Rosiński for Poland.
I know our names are hard to pronounce, and even harder to remember so probably Mr Grzegorz Rosiński wouldn't mind.
That's it from me. I go back and stare in amzement.
