once in europa

Back in September I struggled for 3 weeks to paint the mythological theme of Europa and the Bull.
I was finally able to complete it this evening.
The title is borrowed, with respects, from John Berger's beautiful story of love in the Alps.

It's very lovely.
I enjoy yak-work at the best of times.
In the bottom left hand corner there appears to be some kind of grid pattern.
Is this in the image or is it just the way my monitor is displaying it?

Doesn't look like much of a struggle to me.More like another great result of Limbolo's inexhaustible fascination with horned beasties and abstract composition... Although I seem to remember there were dolphins involved as well.
