Neil. When I saw this I just couldn't understand it. This black sky , the line for the road, the lighting. All is so magic. This is probably one of my favourite piece. The lady is so great as well.
You have it to tee, Andrei. Alberto may not remember these images: they were done while we were both working on the same project (which went astray for reasons beyond our control.) I saw it as very Scottish: and therefore romantic and ridiculous. I don't know how Alberto saw it: we are in the same town but it's easy to drift apart. (London is like that)
I have posted them now in hommage to Ivor Cutler, keyboard mysterion, surrealist and unique humourist, who died this month at the age of 82.
The landscape is a masterpiece, it touches emotional strings inside me, like Cutler did. Did you know that Ivor Cutler was Ted Rockley's teacher in primary school?
You should have separated the lady above from the "Cutler"...She is more in the style of Mrs. Chau's school of blogging.
Crumbs, bottom one is sensational, hadn't seen that before. Is there no end to the depth of your draweres?!
I recently saw a documentary on Cutler, was only vaguely aware of his name as fringe poet previously but the guy had a fascinating life. His approach to teaching should be compulsory throughout the land.

I often feel that any comment I can make is unnecessary, but feel compelled to say something nonetheless.
Cheers elliot..... If we don't speak, nobody knows we're there.

Amazing! The mixed feelings. The first picture very ridiculous .And the second mysteriously-romantic. :O)

Programme on Cutler coming up on BBC4.....
It could be nice If next time they let us do it.
But I think is better If one day we just do something and then they probably will want it.
