Really wish you would do this on canvas, I really think you could make a go of it. Somehow this remind me of Playboy and the Wizard of Oz at the same time. The old and the new, but not too new.
Good afternoon, gentlemen, Bill, For me, working in photoshop is the best way to illustrate an idea. If I was to paint on canvas I'd come up with a different kind of picture. The Alice series is not arbitrary, but the method is serendipity. Photoshop is ideal for making quick shifts, changes and improvisations. I am simply not a good enough pure painter to get these results with 'raw' paint. Also, in painting, the best work has already been done. This is not the case with computer-made images. The 'Payboy' thing is an interesting remark. The Wizard of Oz - you know who you are - is currently in San Francisco in search of wine, women and - perhaps - song.

Well, I think you'd be bored to death with the peering thing, Elliot. This one is typical: done over a month in brief fits and starts. The sky was done over a year ago and saved for later....Much later. (I often do skies if I can't think of much.) The landscape is Northumbria: a windblown, muddy place where I grew up. The Dormouse is a local stoic. The Hatter - also local - an alarmingly intense nutter. The giant black rabbit/hare is an exotic figure. He put in his first appearance in 'conversation' back in july. I began to pull focus on him after seeing the great Spanish matador LUIS FRANCISCO ESPLA at the corrida in Beziers a couple of weeks ago. (No physical resemblance by the way.)

Didn't have to search for the wine and woman but as my luggage has gone walkabout the music will require some investigation.
On my return, if it's something you'd cope with, I would rather like to peer over your shoulder for a bit as your make one of these.

I just spent 12 hours on a plane next to sniffy man and chatty man.
