Werner Herzog was at the NFT on Monday night.
It was wonderful to see and hear the great poet of film-making talking in his unmistakeable way and presenting his latest documentary: ENCOUNTERS AT THE END OF THE WORLD.
See it - I think it's on DISCOVERY channel (for those that have it) - It's one of his best.
No sentimentalities about fluffy penguins on this Antarctic journey, but you'll learn something about penguins that you won't hear from anyone else.
