Well I'll be f****d! Its on one of the several footpaths through the woods on the south side of the Darent Valley. Palmer's house is in the village about 15 minutes' walk away. They say he used to hide out beneath the trees for days, hoping to see an angel. We didnt see an angel but I'm inclined to think they pass this way
