I had a white Tux a while ago. I got it at Shopping City in Arnos Grove. I think it was made of reconstituted vinyl and made me sit up very straight.

Hi Neil,
I've never seen 'Judex', but 'Les Yeux sans visage' made a profound impression on me when I was a kid. It is also available on dvd accompanied by a short on Paris 'La Villette' slaughterhouse in the fifities that might put you off of meat for a while, all in beautiful black and white.
Cheers.

I once met a lady in LA who had been horrified to hear that the French eat horsemeat. However the name for a horse-meat shop, 'chevaline', had reassured her. She believed this must be a cow-like horse and therefore it must be less barbaric to eat it.

Aah yes,
It is now illegal for people to eat horsemeat in California. One can make glue or dog food out of the dead beasts, but one can not have it for diner. I'm sure every horse in the state must have been greatly relieved to see this salutary proposition become law.
Cheers.
