I really, REALLY think that getting more gestural/simplified/minimal makes all the sense. I think I can't get into it because I'd fail miserably, since I can't emulate artistic maturity... but if I don't start trying, I'm not sure I'll ever get there, will I?
What do you think? Should simplification be pursued? Most artists tend to get their work more complex with time, but it doesn't make any sense to me to pursue that.
